About this Episode

Passage:
4 Say to the cowardly:
“Be strong; do not fear!
Here is your God; vengeance is coming.
God’s retribution is coming; he will save you.”
5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened,
and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Then the lame will leap like a deer,
and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy,
for water will gush in the wilderness,
and streams in the desert;
7 the parched ground will become a pool,
and the thirsty land, springs.
In the haunt of jackals, in their lairs,
there will be grass, reeds, and papyrus. -- Isaiah 35:4-7 (CSB)

Song:
Nothing to Fear by Audrey Assad, Isaac Wardell, Paul Zach

Lyrics:
When you pass through the waters
I will be with you
And the depths of the rivers
Shall not overwhelm
When you walk through the fire
You will not be burned
I am the Lord I am the Lord

And there is nothing to fear nothing to fear
There is nothing to fear nothing to fear
For I am with you always
(Ooo ooo)

In the depths of your sorrow
I wept beside you
When you walked through the shadow
I drew you near
Yesterday today tomorrow
Always the same
I am the Lord I am the Lord

What can separate you from my perfect love

Do not fear do not fear do not fear

Prayer:
O God, at whose bidding man goes forth to his work and to his labor until the evening: grant us to cherish the lessons we have learned out of your holy Word. Support us when we are tested in duty, that in all our doings we may remember that you have chosen us that we should go and bear fruit and that our fruit should abide.
